Web scanner or installed app?
This scanner runs as a website. You open it in a modern browser and select a photo without installing a separate application. An installed app usually adds an installation step and its own update process. Features, permissions, prices, and offline support vary by app; this page does not claim every competing app behaves the same way.
Our web version is free to the visitor and has no account, subscription, push notifications, or access to your whole photo library. You choose which file to submit. Analysis needs an internet connection and an available external image model; it does not run offline.
Scan from a phone or desktop
On a computer, click the upload button or drop an authorized JPG, PNG, or WebP into the upload box. On a phone, choose an existing image or use Take a photo. The camera control requests the rear-facing camera through the browser’s file chooser; the exact camera options depend on the device and browser.
Keep the face and coat visible, use natural light, and include one cat. HEIC files may need to be exported as JPEG. Rejecting an unsupported file before analysis does not mean a cat has been identified, and the website does not need permission to search through unrelated photos.
What comes back after scanning
A valid result includes three appearance comparisons and three visual observations selected from reviewed text. The leading match is not a confirmed pedigree, and the alternatives are not identified parents. Domestic coat categories are supported alongside the 20 pedigreed profiles.
The relative percentages total 100% across the selected options. They do not establish genetic ancestry, identify a particular animal, or diagnose health. A different angle can change the ranking, and an image may fail to produce a valid result.
Privacy and a practical choice
The application strips metadata and processes an image in memory before sending it to DeepSeek. This site does not save a gallery or create a public result URL. The provider’s processing rules are separate, so review the privacy notice and avoid photos with personal details.
Choose a browser tool if you want to try an appearance comparison without installing software. If you are comparing it with an app, read that app’s current feature list, data practices, and charges. The format alone does not prove one product is more accurate or private than another.

Questions about this photo tool
Is this an app I need to install?
No. This is a browser-based scanner. Open the page and upload a photo; there is no app-store download or account.
Can it work without the internet?
No. Recognition uses an external model through the website’s server. A connection and available service are required.
Will the camera work on my phone?
The file chooser requests a rear-facing camera, but the options depend on your device and browser. You can also select an existing supported image.
Share a photo with care
This site processes uploads in memory and sends a metadata-stripped image to DeepSeek. It does not save uploads or create public result pages. The provider has its own processing and retention terms. Do not include private details or photographs you lack permission to share.
