WHAT IS MY CAT · TERMS
Use the tools thoughtfully.
These terms describe use of What Is My Cat’s free website and tools. Last updated November 5, 2026. Please read them with the privacy notice before uploading.
What the website provides
The website provides educational cat-appearance comparisons, source-linked profile notes, and calculators. It does not provide veterinary care, genetic testing, pedigree certification, insurance advice, or a binding medical-cost quote. Availability and model responses can vary; no accuracy level, uptime, response time, or suitability for a particular decision is guaranteed.
Your permission to upload
Upload only an image you have permission to share with the website and its analysis provider. You keep any rights you hold in the image. By requesting analysis, you authorize the processing needed to perform that request. Avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information, and do not upload unlawful or harmful content.
Use results within their limits
Do not use an appearance match to establish parentage, choose medical treatment, evaluate an emergency, certify a sale, or determine insurance eligibility. Similarity scores describe comparisons among selected profiles and do not establish ancestry. Calculators depend on their stated assumptions and inputs; a professional assessment or written clinic estimate may differ.
Fair access and external services
Do not bypass request limits, automate abusive traffic, probe for credentials, or interfere with other visitors. Limits may apply to people sharing a network. External references, the analysis provider, analytics, and email services have their own terms. A linked source does not endorse this website.
Commercial links and changes
No payment or subscription is required to use the current tools. If affiliate links are activated, they will be identified and marked as sponsored, and they will not block results. There are no active affiliate arrangements or advertising scripts in this version. Material changes to how information is handled should be reflected in the privacy notice.
Contact
